The inspiration for this room came from a client's tiffany lamp that is very sentimental. We put together a new floor plan first and then resourced everything from rugs, custom made curtains and all new furniture. My favorite thing about this room was the painted blue brick fireplace!

I try to buy local as much as possible. This is one gem that I found at the shops at Millworks, in Harrisburg, PA

Turning a house into a home for a lovely family involved thoughtful design choices and personal touches that reflected their unique style and shared memories. The shelves were adorned with a mix of family mementos, carefully chosen decor, and beloved books, creating a visual narrative of the family's journey. A long sofa table positioned behind the sofa served as a display area for cherished items and a convenient surface for decorative elements. Additional chairs were strategically placed to encourage conversations and create cozy gathering spots. Custom curtains in warm, inviting hues framed the windows, adding a touch of elegance and softening the space. Family photos adorned the walls, transforming the house into a personalized gallery filled with moments of joy and togetherness.

Major Reno

A major renovation transformed the heart of the home as the main wall between the kitchen and an unused room was dismantled, creating a seamless, open space. The kitchen underwent a significant upgrade, featuring ample storage solutions to accommodate the family's needs, painted cabinets, and a new countertop. A highlight of the renovation was the installation of a custom wood countertop, infusing warmth and a touch of rustic charm. New trim work throughout the home added architectural detail, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Repositioned furniture optimized the layout, fostering a more functional and inviting environment. In the living room, new curtains framed the windows, allowing natural light to cascade in, while a beautiful color palette, chosen by and beloved to the homeowner, enveloped the entire space. A family travel wall emerged as a focal point, showcasing mementos and photos from their adventures. The renovation not only modernized the home but also created a personalized and harmonious living space that perfectly matched the family's lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.

Blank Slate

The renovation of this classic home began with a blank slate, allowing for a complete transformation that honored the home's timeless charm while introducing modern elements. A focal point of the renovation was the installation of a large custom cabinet, seamlessly integrating functionality and aesthetics. This piece not only served as a storage solution but also added a touch of sophistication to the space. New furniture, carefully selected to complement the classic architecture, brought a fresh and contemporary feel to the rooms. Thoughtfully chosen accessories added layers of style and personality. The neutral color palette served as a canvas, allowing the classic architectural details to shine while creating a backdrop for the introduction of modern elements. The result was a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary, where the character of the home was preserved, yet infused with a renewed sense of style and functionality.
