This family's barn was taken down and we had the idea to use the barn wood as a backdrop for the laundry room, which serves as the main entrance to the home. It was a way to pay homage to family but also interest to the new space. Custom cabinetry and shoe storage were installed to provide much needed organization. New tile floor was installed to coordinated with the tile in the nearby kitchen area. A pipe drying rack was installed to bring in some old with the new. This renovated entrance definitely gives guests something to talk about and the homeowners a new organized space.
